The 65-000 series is Onsrud's single flute all-purpose cutter. It was designed for machines that don't have a tool changer, as it alleviates the need to change bits when changing material. While it does route wood, plastic, and aluminum well it is not better than tools specially designed for those individual materials. If you are going to be routing a lot of aluminum it will be more cost effective for you to use an aluminum cutter rather than this series.
